It's been a very busy week for me, I don't know about you, but I'm ready for a nap! I'm in the process (STILL) of certification in Texas. I graduated in Oklahoma, was certified to teach there, came to Texas, took my certification tests during my one year contract, got certified in the state of Texas. NOW my last step is to add an ESL certification to my license. I studied 15+ hours for this test, y'all! My brain looks feels like this:
I am so nervous to get my scores back! I am trying to stay positive about it because I tried my absolute best:) Eek!
I have joined all of the hype with the teacher tool kit and I am so excited to start this project! Stay tuned for my Monday Made-It for the finished product:)
I have also updated my "When I grow up I want to be.." writing template to add a girl version as well! This is a freebie at my TpT store. Click here to get the updated set!
I have been looking at all of the wonderful ideas as far as notebooks and writing ideas! I have been making my list as to how I want my students to "store" their writing and activities. Poetry folders, Spelling journal Writing folder, Writing journal, and Portfolio folders are what each of my students will have so far. Any of you teachers have any other folders or journals that you implement into your classroom as far as where students write or keep papers? I'm interested in hearing what you have in your classrooms! :)
I have been browsing bright colored classroom decor all week. I'm going simple and adding pops of color throughout my classroom. What are you doing this year?!
Thank you for visiting, have a great week, and connect with other people back at the linky party! :)
